World of Tanks

World of Tanks is a 3D, team-based MMO shooter where players take control of World War 2 era tanks.  Gameplay in World of Tanks requires teamwork and strategy.  With over a hundred tanks to choose from and up to sixty players per battle, WoT offers conflicts of epic proportions!


World of Tanks puts players in command of their very own World War 2 era battle tank.  WoT is a team-based game where two sides of up to thirty players each compete to destroy all opposing vehicles.  With 150 combat vehicles of American, German, and Soviet design, World of Tanks offers an in-depth gaming experience.  RPG elements also make an appearance, as players will be able to upgrade their tanks with new parts and crew members.  New recruits start with a light German or Soviet tank, but after accumulating experience and credits, they will be able to upgrade to heavier models.  Additionally, it will be possible to upgrade individual parts such as turrets, chassis, engines, guns, radios, and ammunition types.

While World of Tanks is proud of its historic accuracy, it doesn’t let history get in the way of gameplay. The game is easy to pick up and play, but difficulty to master. The most common game mode is team deathmatch, where players are randomly assigned to a team before the round begins.  Other modes include capture the flag and clan deathmatch, but new players will generally find themselves in the standard random team deathmatch mode.

At the end of each round players are rewarded with experience and credits whether they win or lose.  Credits are the main in-game currency and can be used to purchase new tanks, NPC crew members, or new parts for your current tanks.

Besides purchasing tanks and parts, players must recruit crew members to populate their vehicles. Crew members come in four types, Commander, Loader, Radio Operator and Driver. They gain experience with use and become more effective at their roles.

Mythos Europe

Mythos Europe is a 3D fantasy themed Hybrid MMORPG. Players become adventurers in a magical world infested with hostile creatures and races seeking revenge. Comparable to the classic Diablo heroes wage war using a unique hack n’ slash form of combat with various spells. Explore dungeons, complete quests, and stake your claim in the mystical land of Uld.
  
Mythos Europe mixes both role-playing and hack n' slash gameplay. After a broken alliance between the Cyclops and the Humans the once peaceful land has now become a danger zone. Explore various territories of former allies. Slay wild beasts, monsters, and opposing nations.

The game offers 4 playable races - Gremlin, Styr, Human, and Cyclops.

The classes in the game are three:


Bloodletter – Notorious for their powerful melee combat this class has the ability to summon blood minions from their fallen foes to serve as their own. Skill Tree consists of Crimsonate, Martialist, and Red Hand.
Pyromancer – Experts at long ranged attacks this class has also mastered the element known as fire. They are equipped with protective shields and enchanted weapons. Pyromancer’s skill tree features Cinderblade, Flamecaster, and Coalsmasher.
Gadgeteers – Tech geniuses armed with an assortment of rifles and artillery at their disposal. This class has the ability to construct bombs as well as clever traps. Skill Tree has Marksman, Grenadier, and Tinkerer.

The Gameplay.
Most of the gameplay involves completing quests and exploring dungeons. There are plenty of quests to accomplish. Mythos Europe has a nice variety of tasks for adventurers to tackle. Missions can vary from delivering urgent messages to NPCs to killing monsters terrorizing townsfolk. Search under rocks for magical dust powder. Find cooper material nearby and forge a hammer. Players usually end up battling roaming monsters in combat. The hack n’ slash combat is intense. Users have to click repeatedly to initiate blows. Nothing gets passed these beasts.

Skills & Dungeon.
During combat heroes can execute various skills depending on their chosen class. Each class has three specialized skill trees that players can master through leveling up and distributing points. In Mythos Europe adventurers also explore dozens of dungeons in the form of massive caves, mysterious cellars, and abandoned sanctuaries. Some quests require heroes to clear dungeons in certain locations.

Vindictus

Vindictus is a fast-paced, 3D, fantasy MMORPG brawler. Based on Celtic mythology, Vindictus allows players to fight their way through instanced stages with parties of up to four players. The game has realistic graphics, and features hack and slash style gameplay.


Vindictus is a hack and slash styled MMORPG that mixes instanced stages with persistent towns that act as hubs. The game used Source engine, which allows players to interact with the environment. Vindictus has high production value, including well translated dialogue, cinematics and a clan interface.

The playable characters are 5:


Lann - Quick offensive character who wields dual swords.

Fiona - Defensive character who can block with her shield and perform powerful counter attacks.

Evie - A female mage who has access to a variety of offensive and supportive spells.

Karok - A giant who can swing large objects to crush opponents.

Kai - An archer who is in tune with nature.
* Only the first three characters are currently available.

Most missions are primarily focused on running through the same environments and areas over and over again, usually ending off with a boss battle. Environments are littered with traps and enemies that will try and get in your way, but really, after a couple of runs they'll become nothing more than an afterthought. The boss battles, on the other hand, are the major highlight of the game, shifting the focus over to teamwork to take them down (soloing is still very much an option, though.)

Boss battles won't seem like such a highlight until you reach Gnoll Chieftain, which is basically the first brick wall that will teach players that spamming attacks is not the way to go.

Pros:- Action MMO with brutal physics
- Interactive environments
- Simple but enjoyable co-op play
- Almost ANYTHING can be used as a weapon.

Cons:
- Not much content available at the moment
- Token system limits progression
- Game engine is not optimized.

Alliance of Valiant Arms (a.k.a AVA)

Alliance of Valiant Arms, commonly abbreviated as A.V.A, is a tactical MMOFPS powered by the powerful Unreal 3 engine. The game is set during a fictional war between the European Union and the Neo Russian Federation. The game has without a doubt some of the best graphics out there for any MMO.

Alliance of Valiant Arms is one of those rare F2P MMO gems that has both top-notch graphics and extremely in-depth and varied gameplay. A.V.A can easily hold its own against pay-to-play FPS games like Counter-Strike Source and even Call of Duty 4, both in graphics and gameplay. Those who played other tactical MMOFPS games like Combat Arms, Blackshot or even WolfTeam should be able to quickly familiarize themselves with AVA, as most MMOFPS games tend to be very similar. Alliance of Valiant Arms runs the Unreal 3 engine, so expect great graphics. Perhaps the most notable aspect of AVA is its numerous game modes. They are:

Free for All – As the name implies, players are by themselves and must kill anyone they see. Whichever player has the most kills at the end of the round wins.

Escort - The EU team must ‘escort’ a tank that slowly moves through the map while the NRF have to use Rocket-Propelled Grenades (RPGs) to destroy it. If the tank reaches the end of the map before time runs out the EU team wins, otherwise the NRF wins. This is one of the more popular and unique game modes in Alliance of Valiant Arms.

Domination - Basically king of the hill. Opposing teams must capture and hold the command post located in the center of the map for a period of time to win.

Survival - Exactly like Suppression mode, but with one one life per player.

Convoy – The EU team must find and capture a ‘nuclear suitcase’ that is guarded by the NRF on one map before time runs out. Eliminating the opposing team is another way to win a round in Convoy mode

Demolition - Demolition mode is essentially the same ‘plant the bomb’ game mode popularized by Counter-Strike. The EU team must plant a C4 bomb in one of two bomb sites while the NRF must defuse it.

Annihilation - Annihilation mode is basically team deathmatch. The European Union (EU) and New Russia Federation (NRF) duke it out across one of the game’s many levels. Whichever team reaches either 80 or 180 points first wins.

This game can offer you:  Great Fluid Gameplay, Great Customization, Achievement System, Good Interface, Maps and Music.
Lets sum this up. The game is exellent.

League Of Legends

League of Legends, is a 3D fantasy MMO where players choose from one of many champions and fight it out against their enemies. Although each individual ‘game’ or ‘match’ doesn’t take place in a persistent world, players earn experience points for winning matches, which can be used to permanently improve attributes in all future games.



Starting Out

After creating an account and logging into League of Legends for the first time, players will be prompted whether they want to complete the game’s tutorial. I STRONGLY recommend that anyone who hasn’t played an Aeon of Strife game before should complete the tutorial. After completing the tutorial players can jump right into a game by hitting the ‘Play’ button on the top left of the screen and then select ‘Solo’. Those looking to play with their friends should select ‘Arranged Team’. Finding a game can take upwards of  a minute – during peak times players will usually be able to find a game within a few seconds – so there’s never too much waiting around.

The Field of Justice

League of Legends is a 5v5 game, so after selecting a champion, summoner spells and runes, the game will actually begin. The first thing I noticed after the game started is that the game has remarkably fluid gameplay, which gives the game a nice ‘high quality’ feel to it. Everyone starts off at level 1 and the maximum level is 18. The goal of each individual game is simple: destroy the opposing team’s base before they destroy yours (Sort of like Savage 2). Each individual ‘match or ‘game’ doesn’t take place in a persistent world; each time a new game begins, everyone selects a new hero and starts back at level 1. Earn experience points by killing enemy minions and champions. Each new level rewards the player with increased attributes, as well a single skill point which can be spent on learning/improving one of four skills. Each champion has four distinctly different skills, so make sure to read and understand each one before spending a skill point on it.  An average game takes anywhere from 30-60 minutes; so try not to start a new game unless you have the time to finish it, as leaving in the middle of a game can imbalance the teams and ruin the game for everyone else.

Leveling Up – Outside of the Game

The more matches a player wins in League of Legends – the more experience their ‘summoner’ gains. Every level yields a single ‘Mastery’ point, which can be spent in the ‘masteries’ tab. Masteries are basically passive enhancements which will enhance a champion’s attributes in every single game. The masteries work a lot like the ‘talent’ points in World of Warcraft and Runes of Magic, but they are ‘account wide’, so it doesn’t matter which champion you select; you’ll always receive these boinuses. The three skill trees in the masteries tab are Offense, Defense and Utility. One example of a ‘mastery’ in the offense skill tree is ‘Deadliness’. Every point allocated to the ‘Deadliness’ skill yields an additional 0.66% ‘critical strike’ rating to your champion. As mentioned earlier, this isn’t a onetime deal; you’ll receive this bonus in every single match you play, no matter which champion you choose to play as.

The game can offer you huge playerbase and amazing graphics, sadly the EXP rate isn't very good.
Never the less this game can't be ignored. Try it and you will fall in love with it. :)

Battle of the Immortals

Battle of the Immortals is a 2.5D MMORPG that incorporates eastern and western cultures ranging from Norse Mythology to the Qin Dynasty.





Taking up the mantle of relic hunters, players can expect to travel throughout the world from the ancient tombs of past emperors in the East to the mythical Mount Olympus in the West. They will also be able to explore the Great Pyramids, uncover the mystery behind the Lost City of Atlantis and delve into lost temples deep within the Mayan jungle. Magus – The masters of elemental magic. Magus can deal heavy damage to a single or multiple targets in an area. They have low physical defense and rely on allies for protection.

Heretic - The priest class of BOI. Heretics control the flows of life and death with their spells. They can protect and heal their allies, or corrupt enemies with shadow skills. A must-have in any serious group.

Current status & why I am not posting.

The Lord of the Rings Online

The Lord of the Rings Online is a 3D, fantasy MMORPG based on the now legendary LotR franchise. With characters from the movies and books, LotRO is sure to entice fans, but there’s plenty here for those unfamiliar with the story. A massive game world, an interesting PvP mode that allows gamers to play as monsters, and player housing are just some of the features this game has to offer.


This game started its life by being pay to play, but not it is free to play. The game places a heavy emphasis on story and lore. Right from the start, players are thrown into the thick of things with interactive quests. Players are only given the option of choosing between the ‘good’ or ‘free’ races which include Humans (referred to simply as ‘Man’), Dwarves, Elves, and Hobbits but can play as monsters in special PvP battles starting at level 10. There are a total of nine classes available, though not all are available to all races. PvP in LotRO is a bit different than most MMORPGs; players fight in large battles either as special level 50 monsters or as their normal characters.

 The available races are: Elves, Hobbits, Human and Dwarves. You can pick male or female for any rae except Dwarf, which offers only male.

There are nine playable classes:

Burgler -  The rogue-like class of LotRO. Buglers fight with daggers and excel at debuffing and crowd control. They can deal heavy DPS as well but have now defense and health. Races: Man, Hobbit.

Captain -  A class unique to the race of Man. Captains can use a large variety of armors and weapons. They control pets, have buffing abilities and are capable of tanking. Races: Man.

Champion -  The main tanking class of Lord of the Rings Online. Guardians can use most weapon types and all armor types. They can deal moderate damage, but are most useful in absorbing damage for their allies. Races: Man, Elf, Dwarf, Hobbit.

Hunter -  The classic archer archetype. Hunters deal heavy damage from a distance using bows, but have lower defense and health than the melee-oriented classes. All races can play as hunters.

Lore-Master - A multi-purpose spell casting class. Lore-Masters hurl spells from a safe distance, summon pets, and are capable of crowd control (CC.) Races: Man, Elf.

Minstrel -  Minstrels sooth their allies wounds with enchanting songs and boost their fighting potential with powerful chants. Since they are the main supportive class in he game, the Minstrel class is available to all classes.

Rune-Keeper -  The main offensive spell casters. They hurl powerful spells at their targets but are also capable of healing their allies. With low defense and health, they must be defended by their allies. Races: Elf, Dwarf.

Warden - A jack-of-all-trades melee class that uses medium armor and several weapon types, including throwing javelins. Wardens are mainly concerned with dealing damage, but can serve as off-tanks. Races: Man, Elf, Hobbit.


The character creation in LotRO is pretty good, since it offers you a "colour wheel"

Realms Online

This game has been devepoled by NGD Studios and is Windows and Linux compatible.
Realms Online is a free to play MMORPG for Windows and Linux. Inside a 3D virtual world, players can choose different races: Elves, Humans Dwarves, or Dark Elves and explore the wild lands or join an army to fight. It’s available in english, spanish and german. And it’s based on an ongoing war between the three kingdoms.

- 6 classes.
- Forts & castles capture.
- Lands to explore.
- Support for Windows, Linux, and MacOSX.
- Premium items for enhanced gameplay


Classes:
There are three main classes: warrior, archer, and mage. But once your character reaches level ten, you will be able to choose one of two disciplines.

Warrior
- Knight: Defensive discipline. Increases the player’s ability to take on damage.
- Barbarian: Offensive discipline. Increases the attack that the player gives.

Archer
- Marksman: Offensive discipline. Increases the player’s ability to make damaging attacks.
- Hunter: Defensive discipline. Allows the player to train a pet and use skills to make a target easier to hit.

Mage
- Warlock: Offensive discipline. Gives the player the ability to cast devastating spells on the target.
- Conjurer: Defensive discipline. Allows the player to summon creatures and use defensive spells.

There are 2 types of quests in this game. Character building quests and Shadow quests.

Character building quests
Are easy to find and help to level the player as well as improve spells and special abilities.
The shadow quests
Are designed to fulfill the PvE experience by offering the player a complete start to finish story-line with hundreds of supporting quests. Some of these quests may be both challenging to find as well as challenging to complete.

PVP
The PvP aspect of the game is the highly competitive gaming side of Realms. Points awarded to players who do great deeds for their realm. These deeds include defeating an enemy player from an opposing realm. All realm points are tracked and ranked on the Realms official ranking website.
At the core of the PvP gaming are player realm’s strongholds. These can be realms forts, castles, and other structures. These structures are strategic points that are key to the realm survival. Therefore players will need to work together with other players to both protect structures as well as attack and take control of the enemies structures. For the most part battling and realm conflicts take place in the conflict zone which is accessible by passing through the great wall in your realm. The conflict zone is an area of land that touches each of the warring realms. It is here that you can be killed by any players from other realms.
There are also arenas in the safe zones of each realm. These Arenas allow players from the same realm to duel in a safe area without any punishment for losing.

Allods Online

Allods Online, or just Allods for short, is a 3D Fantasy MMORPG with some interesting Sci-Fi elements. The game mixes high fantasy elements with the space opera genre, but with a much greater emphasis on fantasy. Unlike other MMORPGs, Allods Online has a great emphasis on its storyline. The game takes place after the destruction of the planet Sarnout which led to the formation of floating islands in space called Allods. Fight for either the Empire or the League in this extremely polished MMORPG.



Allods Overview:
Allods Online is an unique 3D MMORPG with Sci-Fi elements mixed in. The graphics are a lot like World of Warcraft and the gameplay is like Warhammer Online. The game has amazing storyline and PvP. One of the most unique features of this games are the ship battles which take action in space, wheer you fight either NPCs or other players. The game has six races, eight classes and whopping 28 different archetypes.

There are 2 playable factions. The League and The Empire.
The League can offer you 3 different races: Elves, Gibberlings and Kanians.
The Empire can also give you 3 races: Orcs, Xadaganians and Arisens.
The classes are as following: Warrior, Mage, Scout, Paladin, Psionicist, Summoner, Healer and Warden.

This MMORPG stays fresh and interesting until the very end. Every time you gain a new piece of gear, the way your character looks will change. Allods Online has many quests to take part in so you don't have to grind in order to level-up, unless you just want to. As you move up in levels they'll be even more adventures to enjoy as you explore the dead seas, tropical islands, pyramids and take part in astral battles while seeking out the “big bosses” scattered across the zones.

If you're killed in the game then you'll be sent to the nearest resurrection area where you'll wait until you're resurrected. Allods Online does have many of the same great qualities that can be found in the ever-so-popular WoW but that's just a bonus feature. This plus the fact that it's a free-to-play game makes it an excellent selection for any gamer looking for fun and adventure in an online MMORPG game.

Fosaken World

Forsaken world is a 3D Free2Play MMORPG. It is set in the world of Eyrda. As of now the game can offer us 5 races and 8 classes which will be mentioned in the next lines. There are also guild battles (GVG) and over 10 prefessions. Forsaken World (FW) is published by Perfect World Entertainment, the same studio behind Perfect World.

FW Overview

Forsaken World is the sixth MMORPG by PWE for the NA market. The game officially launched into open beta on March, 09 2011. Original feature in the game is the Vampire race named Kindred. There is also the ability for up to ten players per server to become Gods. Guild bases and GuildVsGuild battles are also key features of this game.

Races - Stoneman, Elf, Dwarf, Human and Kindred.
Professions - Socialite, Merchant, Adventurer, Collector, Arcanist, Botanist, Astrologist, Armorsmith, Blacksmith, Tamer and Alchemist.

The current classes in the game are as following:

Warrior -  The central figure of any group. Warriors have high health and can deal heavy damage at close range.

Protector - The tank, or defensive fighter of Forsaken World. Protectors absorb blows for their allies. They have heavy health and defense but limited damage output.

Assassin -  Masters of stealth, Assassins deal high damage at close range. They have light armor and health and cannot stand toe to toe with enemies for long.

Marksman -  Wielding long-ranged weapons, Marksman fight their enemies from a distance. They deal consistent damage over time, but are lightly armored.
  
Mage - Masters of the elements, Mages are a dieing breed in Forsaken World but those that remain are deadly. They have high damage output but how defense and health.

Priest -  Supportive casters who heal and bolster the fighting capabilities of their allies.

Vampire - A mysterious class that mixes magic with melee attacks. Vampires use their own health to perform attacks, but absorb the life of their enemies.

Bard -  A supportive class whose music can effect those around them. Bards can disable enemies or buff allies nearby.
